Ampy

Gender: Male

Age: Adult

Colour: White with Light Brown Patches

Description: rescued stray, still unsure and snaps when scared, possibly has Ehrlichia, with infections and sarcoptic mange, anemic

Location: Bulacan Shelter

My Story:

Ampy was rescued from the streets after his reporter (who was also feeding him for 3 days already) wanted to secure a good home for him. The local barangay already captured him for transfer to the pound, but luckily our committed volunteers stepped up to secure him and brought him to the Bulacan Shelter. He’s a very sweet boy and doesn’t bark at people but he is still fearful and insecure, which can lead to snapping when he gets uncomfortable. Our original plan was to find him a foster home, but luckily the applicant stepped up to just adopt him instead! But we still need your help. We already brought Ampy to the vet but he is not yet ready to be fully released.

Health Conditions:

  • Low WBC and platelets (possible with Ehrlichia)
  • Overwhelming infection
  • Anemic
  • Sarcoptic mange

Ampy is just so scared, maybe because he had to survive and wander the streets all on his own. But he is so sweet, even crying to Ate Rachel after being saved. Help us give Ampy a fighting chance and help him get better for his new life!
