My Story:
Hello!! My name is Sakang, and I can say that I am amongst one of the lucky ones for having a family I can call my own. Despite not having an extravagant life, I am fully content since I enjoy the littlest things in life such as daily food and water on my bowl, pure love from my family, and the occassional treats I truly enjoy!!!
Everything is as perfect as it could be until I was unmercifully and randomly hacked using a katana sword. There was so much blood gushing out of my face, my front and hind legs, and everywhere where the katana sword touched my body. I cannot explain how painful it was and still is until now, but what I’m more worried about is my hoomans. You see, my family couldn’t bring me to a vet right away since they were afraid of not being able to afford my vet bills, but they tried their very best to apply first aid and make me feel better. They were also scared to ask for help publicly because they didn’t want my abuser to come after them, since he managed to escape from baranggay officials, and is still currently at large. 😔
Luckily, my family found someone who can help with my case! I was immediately brought to the vet where they found that aside from the visible wounds, I am enduring multiple fractures. I am currently on pain meds. and antibiotics, and awaiting for surgery until my body can handle the planned procedure. My initial vet bills amounted to ₱ 3, 875 and surgery costs may reach up to ₱30k.
Kindly please help me get better. I really was not expecting all these to happen, but I am hopeful that it will all get better from here on. This might just be wishful thinking, but I hope no animals get to experience what I’ve been through. And to all hoomans, I am begging to please don’t hurt us because we have feelings too. 😔 We only ask for kindness from you, and we hope that is not too much to ask. 🙏 Thank you so much for hearing my story! 🖤
