WE’RE ALSO LOOKING FOR A BLOOD DONOR FOR TOKYO!
Tokyo’s owner reached out to Pawssion Project as his condition was worsening. Upon bringing to the vet, he unfortunately tested positive for Ehrlichiosis and Distemper. He has extremely low platelet and CBC, and requires blood transfusion ASAP since he’s been experiencing epistaxis (nosebleed) episodes. Specifically, he needs 250-350 ml of blood, and the blood donor must meet the following criteria:
1. Must weigh 25 kgs and above and not overweight
2. Updated vaccine and deworm
3. Not receiving any medication
4. Must be on flea , tick and heartworm prevention
5. Healthy and no history of heart disease
6. Must have never receive any blood transfusion
7. Not pregnant
